“Kaztemirtrans” JSC is the largest operator of the stock of freight cars of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The stock of freight cars of “Kaztemirtrans” JSC is counted about 47 thousand units.  They are box cars, platforms, gondola cars, tanks, grain-carriers, cement carriers, fitting platforms.

Business associates of “Kaztemirtrans” JSC in the sphere of freight transportation are the largest transport and logistics enterprises, builders, and production companies, small and medium enterprises.

The mission of the Company is the contribution to the sustainable development of transport sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan through providing the market of freight transportation with railway transport.

The company renders services as lease of freight cars, their repair and modernization, storage, processing and realization of scrap metal.

Our history

2003 year
Company formation
The joint stock company “Kazzheldortrans” (100% subsidiary of “NC “Kazakhstan temir zholy” JSC) was established as a result of reformation of the railway transport of Kazakhstan.
2005 year
Acquisition of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Finance B. V.
Purchase of 99.64% equity share of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Finance B.V. by Kaztemirtrans JSC

2007 year
Renaming into "Kaztemirtrans"
Due to expansion of the international activity in the CIS countries and Europe and in order to identify the Company with Kazakhstan business on the international markets it was decided to rename “Kazzheldortrans” JSC into “Kaztemirtrans” JSC.
2013 year
Translation of the inventory car fleet
Carrying out measures on transfer of the inventory rolling stock of JSC “NC “KTZ” to the management of “Kaztemirtrans” JSC as its own fleet.
2017 year
Trading on the electronic trade exchange "Railcommerce"
In July, 2017 for the first time tenders were held at “Railcommerce”, the electronic trading exchange, for services of leasing (renting) gondola cars of “Kaztemirtrans” JSC
2019 year
Presentation of certificates
In August, 2019 “Kaztemirtrans” JSC, based on the results of the recertification audit conducted by the international certification body, was awarded certificates for compliance with the requirements of international standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, implemented in “Kaztemirtrans” JSC.
